Editorial Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

This Editorial Policy describes how MoldTexturingGuide produces, reviews, and maintains its
content. It exists so readers can judge the reliability of what we publish.

How content is produced

Articles are researched and written by the MoldTexturingGuide editorial team and then technically
reviewed by Marcel Dias, our Technical
Editor, before publication. Technical articles carry a visible review attribution.

Standards we hold

  • Accuracy first. Claims are anchored in primary sources, following our
    Research Methodology.
  • Quantitative and cited. We present data in tables and cite the standard,
body, or study behind each figure.
  • Honest about uncertainty. Cross-standard conversions (SPI, VDI 3400,
Mold-Tech) are labeled as approximate, because no official cross-conversion exists.
  • Original value. Each page adds something a reader cannot get from a generic
summary: consolidated data, a clear explanation, or a practical decision aid.
  • Neutral. We do not promote any vendor; see our
    Editorial Independence &
    Disclosure
    .

Updates and corrections

Standards and practices evolve. We revise content as needed and welcome corrections through our
Corrections Policy.
